Definitely the number 1 thing on my thankful list is (are?) my 3 little girls. Sticky hugs, emotional swings, darling one-liners, and tender cuddles...all of it! I love it all and I love them! (Um, and also ganache. I made some for a cake yesterday and think I could eat it with a spoon until I just burst! Which I almost did.)
I follow your blog and am posting this giveaway on my blog. I'm new to the blogging world, but am thankful for the internet! What would we do without modern technology?! MOSTLY, I am so so so thankful to be back in AZ among family, wonderful friends and beautiful warm weather.
I am thankful that in the last year I discovered I have a food intolerance, and I am on my way to recovery. I still have to try eliminating more from my diet, but I feel worlds' better then I did at this time last year, when it was at its worst.
I am most thankful for my family, mainly my three children. I am thankful for the unique ways they each touch my lives and inspire me to be a better person. I am thankful that I have found and embraced my own creativity and finally realized one thing that truly gives me joy is using that creativity to bless others. p.s. I am a follower :)
I'm thankful for music! What would we do without the cheery stuff to brighten our mood (or just be the soundtrack for a rosy day) or the mournful tunes for the times we need to reflect? What would I do without the opportunity to play, teach, and learn more about it? Definitely underappreciated, music is. ;-)
I am thankful that my hubby will not be spending this Thanksgiving in a far away land sleeping in a tent... I am also thankful that my baby girl is healthy and will be able to enjoy a yummy turkey dinner this year. :)
I'm thankful for my marriage. While I know there are things we always need to be working on, I can honestly say my husband and I have a very healthy marriage. I just spent a weekend with a bunch of ladies at a women's retreat, and heard so many stories of hurting marriages. It made me thankful for mine--which means I'm very thankful for my husband as well.
I am most thankful for the Grace of God in my life. He has given me a strong but Gentle warrior in my husband, 4 super active children the have stretched my hips, my heart and my imagination.
I am thankful for a husband that loves me for all of my inadequacies and quirks. He stands by my side when I can barely stand myself. He makes me cry with laughter, brings me pillows and holds my feet when they are cold. I couldn't dream up someone more perfect for me
Well, I am first very thankful for my wonderful loving hard working husband! Next my 3 beautiful children! All four of these people bring so many blessings to me everyday!
What a great giveaway, thank you again!! I'm soo grateful for the unconditional love of my children. I don't deserve it sometimes when I'm "working" and I don't spend nearly enough time with them, but they still make me feel so loved! staci@justsewsassy.com
Good day! I'm from Ukraine:) a little difficult to figure out what to do. But I want to express my gratitude for what you have! I was recently here in the blogs and am very glad to have found you a lot of useful and practical to have found your blog, THANK YOU!
I'm thankful that a house does not make a home. My husband's work has moved us three times in less than four years. Luckily no matter where we end up, we're still together and we're able to make the best of things.
I am thankful for sooo many things. First on my list would be my salvation and a church that we LOVE. I am so thankful for my kids. I can't really remember what life was like without them. I am also blessed to have a wonderful husband. I daily thank God that we can put food on our table and have a roof over our head. This year has been difficult for us, but we have been able to supply all of our needs. We may not have been able to afford things the we or the kids wanted, but we have each other, our health, our love, and our God. Which is really all we do need!
I'm thankful for my family and their support in my life I'm thankful for being healthy I'm thankful for God giving me conscience for searching higher things in life ... I'm very thankful for lots of things I just need to remind my self about it more often :) Like your idea about this giveaway and will write about it on my blog!
Living in one of the hardest hit areas of the country, my husband was laid off for over a year. I'm thankful for the stability my job offers and that he has recently returned to work. Faith and the grace of God goes a long way to feeding the pantry of the soul.
I'm definitely thankful for my entyre life: my husband, my children, my friends and all the unexpected things that keep me alive. My life is really a gift.
ups! Dejé mis agradecimiento en el post anterior. No importa, repito. Besos. (te sigo hace tiempo) Núria nunurina@hotmail.com
I am so thankful for blogging. I work full time and I'm a single mom and I live in a town of 900 people. I would never get to have such wonderful friends and interaction with fellow Christians if it were not for good clean fun BLOGS. I am thankful!!!
I am a follower. Today I am grateful for the freedom I have to follow my creative pursuits. Tomorrow it may well be something more meaningful but I am crafting away tonight!
After just reading the sweetest message on FB from a husband oversees to his wife who lives here I have to say I am sooo thankful for those men and women serving our country and giving us the peace and freedom we enjoy everyday!!
I'm thankful for my husband and amazing kids! I'm also thankful that my son is coming home for 2 days over Thanksgiving. He's very busy with grad school, so this visit will be a treat for us.
I have a lot to be thankful for, though thankfulness has not often been pouring from my lips of late. I am always being treated better than I deserve, because of Christ's atoning death on the cross. I have a great job that I love and I'm working all the time. This year, the Lord has even given me my own tiny little business selling my hand knit goods. I'm thankful for blogs like yours, that inspire me to continue creating, even if I don't feel like I have the time for it. It's worth it.
Right now I am thankful that my husband is still employed!! (knock on wood) and that our son is starting to get the help he needs to address his special needs. Gos is good!
I am thankful for my little family, for a husband that works hard to allow me to stay home with our children and for continued health and safety of those so close to me. For a house to cover our heads and for food on the table every night. I know that I am truly blessed!!!! Thanks for the giveaway!
I am so thankful for the health of my family this year. I've met people this year that have children with health issues, and it just reminds me how lucky we are that our children (and us) are active and full of energy. Also, my Father-in-law was recently diagnosed with emphysema and heart problems. We are not sure how much longer he will be with us, so I am thankful for every day that his health allows him to live.
i am thankful for my two miracle children. there was a time i didn't think i could have them but God provided them to me and for that i am forever grateful.
I'm thankful that I get to move 10 days before Christmas (yes, we're crazy!) to be closer to family, and no longer do the long distance thing with my husband! Hooray!
fI have so many reasons to be thankful. We are healthy, have enough money to cover our needs (if not all our wants), and still love and respect one another after 15 years.
I am so thankful for Jesus Christ, without whom I'd have no peace. I am also super thankful for my husband of ALMOST one year. I'm thankful that this Thanksgiving holiday I'll be seeing my little sister who's been out traveling the world since January. Sooo excited to see her! I'm thankful for my dependable and enjoyable nanny job, and wow. What a lot to be thankful for!
The thing I am most thankful for is my relationship with The Lord Jesus Christ. My faith has gotten me through many of life's trials and keeps me sane and grounded in an insane world. Running a close second is my wonderful DH James who is my best friend and makes me smile every day.
I'm not sure how many of you might read the Project Pretty blog, but in the last several weeks I have been so touched by this couple's "story". The tragedy that has struck this young family...and the amazing way that Courtney and Zane have glorified Christ in the process....is so special. The daily struggles of life seem so minute now....and I am so very thankful for my family, my God, and my Christ.
As almost everyone is, I'm thankful for my two wonderful children and my wonderful husband. I'm thankful for my health and (a silly one, but still ...) I'm thankful for 7-Eleven Slurpees hehehe!
I am thankful for my children always and forever, but this Thanksgiving I am most thankful for the fact that my SIL and her husband get to adopt a baby this week, after waiting three years. I am grateful that my children will now have a little cousin to play with:)
I am so very thankful to have 3 healthy little girls. They are the joys of my live, my reasons for being. They have helped me realize my worth, and having them in my live makes me want to be more; more patient, more loving, more relaxed, more happy, cook more, create more, share more. They are the best blessings ever.
I'm thankful for sooooooooo many things,#1 The freedom to worship God, #2 all 8 of my wonderful siblings, #3 My caring parents! :) I couldn't just post one! ;)
I am thankful for my husband's support through this hard time. I had major surgery on 9/20 and 3 days later developed problems. A month later I had a line put in to feed me my nutrients. I'm on the road to recovery but without his support, taking care of our 5 kids and hooking my line up every night, I may not be here.
I'm so thankful for my husband- hard to believe it's been more than a year since we got married and he moved to a new state with me! I appreciate him so much and couldn't do it without him.
I am thankful that, despite the rough year we've had in my family (and it's still truckin' along), we are still able to get together, and laugh, and be thankful that we all belong to each other.
I'd also be really thankful for an M&J gift certificate, wink wink :)
I am grateful for a second (or third or fourth LOL)chance at a beautiful marriage with my fist love. We have been through some very rocky moments in our 11 years together, but far from giving up, my husband is actually willing to spend the time it takes for us both to change for the better. Many spouses wouldn't do that.
I have so much to be thankful for - first, I have to say I'm so thankful to have survived tongue cancer, and the traumatic surgery that I went through. Because if I hadn't been so blessed, I wouldn't be here to be thankful for anything else in my life. My God is an awesome God!
I am a follower of your blog, and I'm also so thankful for my wonderful, supportive family. My kids gave me my beautiful grandchildren, and my DH has been my rock.
Definitely the top of my list would be...my husband had a liver transplant Nov 8 2004..it has been touch and go since then. In and out of the hospital (I think we helped build the new IHC hospital) for years, but this last year he has only been in the hospital 4 times..So, we live every day like it is the last..He also lets me do all the sewing I want..Great guy
This year I am thankful for a forgiving and patient heart. It has been a difficult year for me with relationships--and I have tried very hard to turn the other cheek and embrace people for the good that they bring to my life. (And so serendipitous that my verification word is "Allie"??
I am so thankful for my health. I have to friends right now that are extremely ill both laying in bed for over a month. So grateful to be able to be running around chasing my kids and enjoying the fall weather.
i am thankful for my husband who works so hard to make a living and so that i can be a stay at home mom. i am thankful for my daughter and her growth and development (she was born 3 months early) i am thankful that it only took one night to train my son to sleep in the room with his his sister. and lastly i am thankful that i will now be able to sleep through the night (most of the time... i hope)
I am grateful that things don't always work the way I think they should work. I would have missed so many blessings had life gone the way I think it should have gone. I am also grateful for all the warm and loving people in this world who are always willing to welcome a new friend.
I'm a follower already-- I am so thankful for my family. With 3 little ones, I couldn't take care of them all if it wasn't for my supportive husband, my in-laws who are so generous with their time, and my own parents who share so much with their grandchildren!
What I'm thankful for. Wow. Well, despite it being a terrible year or two, it's about to all come to end. And that I've got a wonderful family that supported me through it.
I'm thankful for my helpful husband, my fun-loving boys, my extended family, my religion, the opportunity to be a stay at home mom, my talents, and chocolate. There really is so much to be thankful for!
I love this idea. :) I'm thankful for my time with my daughter - this is her senior year in H.S. and we are just loving watching her enjoy this year and preparing for all the changes ahead. So I'm thankful for her and the time together - before she goes off to college.
I'm so very thankful for being a breast cancer survivor - I completed radiations on March 10 this year (after surgery and chemotherapies). And I'm very, very thankful for my husband's and my daughter's love and help through all this weeks and months! Life's just the best thing that's given to us, and I enjoy mine day after day!
Every since I moved to an apartment with a washer and dryer- I have been extremely grateful to not have to go to a laundry mat to do laundry! Yeah! I'm also grateful for modern medicine and science that have helped save so many lives and end so much pain. Thanks for doing this. Its good for me to remember what I'm thankful for.
I am thankful for the chance to work from home and finally make all my dreams come true through selling my creative projects. So, I am very thankful for my hard working husband!
i am new to your blog and I LOVE it! you are so creative and have a beautiful sense of design and fashion! anyway, i am following your blog now (entry #1) and i am so grateful for the new man in my life: my 3-month old son. after meeting him, watching him grow, and playing with him everyday, i don't know how i've made it this far in life without him. he brings a light into our home that has filled my soul to the absolute brim. ahh, i could gush all day about how much i love my baby! i am just so grateful to have him in my life! :D (entry #2)
I am greatful for so many things. In the last year alone I baught a home and got married and got accepted to graduate school my mom quit smoking and her COPD has abated and...well I could go on and on. I am blessed.
this year i am most thankful for the relationship my long-term boyfriend and i have. let me tell you why.
after our first year together, he was diagnosed with stage 4b hodgkins lymphoma. i was his primary caretaker during chemo and the years of recovery. we survived a lot of things about each other we weren't ready to learn. our life slowly but surely became "normal" again. he was healthy and ready to work again. just last month he had a routine scan and the results show a large mass and enlarged lymph nodes in the same place his cancer started before. we are scheduling a biopsy for next week. as sad as i am for him, for all of the years we've already lost of "our" life together, as scared and exhausted as i am, i am so thankful for him and our relationship. as much as we both have to fear, we know we will survive and thrive together. so, i am most thankful for my boyfriend. and then some.
I am thankful for my little girl, who is turning 1 on Thanksgiving day!! My life has changed so much (for the better) since she has come into my life, and I thank God every day for her, even on those days when she's cranky from teething, or won't take a nap, etc. Those are the days I need to be most thankful :)
I am thankful for my parents! Without them, I won't be here and my daughter won't be here. Although my parents are not perfect, they love my brother and me unconditionally!
I'm thankful for so much, I'm sure as I think about them all I could write a novel on here about them.
Like most, I am SOOO thankful for my family. I've found, as a mother, I am now more appreciative for my parents, my religion, and the way I was brought up. I'm also very thankful for this time of year and what it brings out in me and others I see.
I am thankful for having the opportunity to express myself through my creations and activities, to be with my family, my lovely boyfriend (who is in the army now and he miss me a lot), true friends. I am thankful for the inspirations that i take every day from simple things in my life! I am also thankful for the opportunity you give to us to think about what we are thankful for and realize that the important things in our life are small and simple!
I blogged about this Giveaway! Just follow the next link: http://vallys-creations.blogspot.com/2010/11/participating-in-tea-rose-home.html Feel free to have a little trip in to my blog and leave your comments about my creations!I would love that!
Oh so many things to be thankful for today. My children are number one on my list and my husband is a close second. Third is for people who pray. Husband will be having surgery the evening before Thanksgiving and prayers are needed around here.
I'm thankful that 2010 is almost over. It’s been a difficult year at our house. My husband's business can't go anywhere but up in 2011! Younger daughter has had a series of disappointments; the older daughter is graduating with her Master's degree (the one bright spot!) God is Good, So bring on 2011!!!
Thankfulness is something I focus on year round, it is an attitude I try my best to function in. I am so grateful for my King who has given His precious son to redeem me! I am grateful for my husbands parents who gave birth to my handsome husband whence came two young men whom we have raised to the best of our ability! Family and the friends whom you have made to be part of your family is something I am very grateful for! I am very grateful for freedom, for my soldier husband who believes in going in harms way to promote, and protect the freedom that each of us Americans enjoy each day. Thanks to him and all other service members.
I am thankful that God always provides what we need. Financially, things have been very difficult for our family this year but we always have enough. He feeds the birds (and us too!) mamalusco at ortelco dot net
Definitely the number 1 thing on my thankful list is (are?) my 3 little girls. Sticky hugs, emotional swings, darling one-liners, and tender cuddles...all of it! I love it all and I love them! ReplyDeleteThe thing I am most thankful for is my relationship with The Lord Jesus Christ. My faith has gotten me through many of life's trials and keeps me sane and grounded in an insane world. Running a close second is my wonderful DH James who is my best friend and makes me smile every day.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure how many of you might read the Project Pretty blog, but in the last several weeks I have been so touched by this couple's "story". The tragedy that has struck this young family...and the amazing way that Courtney and Zane have glorified Christ in the process....is so special. The daily struggles of life seem so minute now....and I am so very thankful for my family, my God, and my Christ.

I am so very thankful to have 3 healthy little girls. They are the joys of my live, my reasons for being. They have helped me realize my worth, and having them in my live makes me want to be more; more patient, more loving, more relaxed, more happy, cook more, create more, share more. They are the best blessings ever.

ReplyDeleteI am thankful for my husband's support through this hard time. I had major surgery on 9/20 and 3 days later developed problems. A month later I had a line put in to feed me my nutrients. I'm on the road to recovery but without his support, taking care of our 5 kids and hooking my line up every night, I may not be here.
ReplyDeleteLove them all to pieces:)
I'm so thankful for my husband- hard to believe it's been more than a year since we got married and he moved to a new state with me! I appreciate him so much and couldn't do it without him.

ReplyDeleteI am thankful that, despite the rough year we've had in my family (and it's still truckin' along), we are still able to get together, and laugh, and be thankful that we all belong to each other.
ReplyDeleteI'd also be really thankful for an M&J gift certificate, wink wink :)
OH!! I forgot to say--I'm a follower.
ReplyDeleteI am grateful for a second (or third or fourth LOL)chance at a beautiful marriage with my fist love. We have been through some very rocky moments in our 11 years together, but far from giving up, my husband is actually willing to spend the time it takes for us both to change for the better. Many spouses wouldn't do that.

ReplyDeletethis year i am most thankful for the relationship my long-term boyfriend and i have. let me tell you why.
ReplyDeleteafter our first year together, he was diagnosed with stage 4b hodgkins lymphoma. i was his primary caretaker during chemo and the years of recovery. we survived a lot of things about each other we weren't ready to learn. our life slowly but surely became "normal" again. he was healthy and ready to work again. just last month he had a routine scan and the results show a large mass and enlarged lymph nodes in the same place his cancer started before. we are scheduling a biopsy for next week. as sad as i am for him, for all of the years we've already lost of "our" life together, as scared and exhausted as i am, i am so thankful for him and our relationship. as much as we both have to fear, we know we will survive and thrive together. so, i am most thankful for my boyfriend. and then some.
I am thankful for my little girl, who is turning 1 on Thanksgiving day!! My life has changed so much (for the better) since she has come into my life, and I thank God every day for her, even on those days when she's cranky from teething, or won't take a nap, etc. Those are the days I need to be most thankful :)
ReplyDeleteI am also a follower of your blog, have been for quite awhile, love all your neat creations!!
ReplyDeleteI am thankful for my parents! Without them, I won't be here and my daughter won't be here. Although my parents are not perfect, they love my brother and me unconditionally!
