I cut out fabrics for these PJ bottoms and night gown several weeks ago... I wanted to finish them before Christmas, well, that was wishful thinking on my part.
I finally finished it last week, and now we are enjoying them. The flannel is perfect for the cold nights...very cozy and warm.
When Rachel and I did our "Girl's day out and night in" while the boys were out skiing, we had a bubble bath, tried on new lotions we got from Bath & Body works (they were on sale for $3 a bottle!), did our nails while we watched a Barbie movie... with our new PJs on!
It was a great opportunity to spend quality time with her.
I am so looking forward to spending more mother & daughter time like this.
that photo of her with her teddy bear is absolutely precious!
ReplyDeletegorgeous jammies, too! :o)
I had a special date with my daughter this weekend too - she looks to be around the same age - 4 years old. It is so special spending that time with them, just precious.

Love the pj's!
Oh I love them :) Love Rachel's nightie as we call them in Australia. Now I'm craving winter so I can slip into warm flannelette pj's.
ReplyDeleteThe new jammies turned out beautiful! I also had grand plans of finishing new robes and slippers for my little girls for Christmas, but I think that will have to be a valentine's present! Did you use a pattern for your pants and nightgown?

ReplyDeleteVery cute PJs. Seeing this post reminds me of the PJ pants my grandma makes me. They are the most comfortable and made to fit me. =) They're more comfortable than the store bought ones. You're daughter's so lucky to have a mom who makes her clothes.
