While attempting to learn machine quilting, and doing some hand quilting on a quilt, I am also trying squeeze some "jewelry making time". It is taking me such a long time to make up my mind how I would use
flower cabochons I just bought. Since I don't wanna mess it up!
Meanwhile, I finished this pinwheel necklace today, and wanted to share the picture...
Just call me silly, but the color of red on the pinwheel is so fun and lively, I feel like I can be cheerful and busy creating!
I think I just created my new favorite necklace. I can't wait for spring to arrive. :)
such a cute necklace!
ReplyDeleteI also love the polka dot top!
The red pinwheel looks great! I LOvE your pretty blouse too. Maybe soon, you can show us how to make it. :o)

How did you make that?! We have a groundbreaking for a child advocacy Center this week with a pinwheel as a logo. I'd love to make these for the staff.

ReplyDeleteAdorable and so perfect with the blouse!
ReplyDeleteIs "talent" your middle name?? You never cease to amaze in creativity - thank you - Terry :)
ReplyDeleteThe necklace is really lovely! It's simple, but it really stands out.
ReplyDeleteSo did you make the pinwheel charm or buy it?
ReplyDeleteKnowing you, you probably whipped it up out of clay or sheet metal or something! ;-)
That necklace is awesome.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the pinwheel! Can you share where you purchased this red pinwheel? And oh my gosh, so gorgeous on your neck with that blouse!
ReplyDeleteI am sorry that I wasn't clear enough about the pinwheel. I put together the necklace, but didn't make the pinwheel, I bought it at the store.
ReplyDeleteSince I wanted to make more of this necklace, I am thinking about using clay to create the pinwheel(I know how to make pinwheels with paper, so it should be the same thing, just different material right?)...but hey, that is why I always feel like I don't have enough time in a day. I keep picking up new hobbies!
I've already recreated your necklace and I love it! Such a happy little charmer :)
