Basket Makeover with Yo-Yos

I posted a Yo-Yo tutorial a few posts ago. I recieved several comments and emails about what I am going to use them for. I am sharing one of the ways to use your yo-yos.

I found this plain basket at a local thrift store the other day for 50 cents.(Yea!)

I spray painted it...

Then, I made lining with a drawstring. Using a glue gun, I glued the yo-yos onto the basket.

Gluing the yo-yos was really fun. Rachel loves her new basket bag. :)
I want to make one for myself, I better start making more yo-yos!

I love this! I plan on making a few to hold things in my sewing room! Did you use white spray paint, or an off-white?

That's a real cutie!!! :)
The spray paint you used, is it oil based?

I love yo-yos and this cute idea. Did you attach the drawstring lining to the basket, or is it just sitting inside?

Thank you all for leaving such nice comments!(I love reading comments, if you didn't know...)

Some of you had questions about this project, so here are the answers. :)

Sherri-

I used white paint. That's what I had in my garage...

Penny-

Well, the can doesn't say what it is. It is by Krylon/Fusion for plastic. The can said, " Dries in 15 min or less, no sanding or priming. For use inside and out on most plastics. Also great for wood, metal, ceramic and more".

Sounds too good to be true, right? but, I love this paint. ;)
