Thank you all so much for your well wishes. Am I doing any better? Not really... actually, both of my boys have been sick and they have been staying home too. Also, some of you wrote to "get plenty of rest" so with you all as my doctor, have I been following that advice? Not really... it's not that I don't want to rest, but there is a reason why I can't really rest right now. I will let you know more about it in my next post.
Today, I have really exciting news I want to share with you!
If you are ever in a book store, reach out for the spring issue of Quilts and More. The quilt I designed and made (and I have never shared anywhere before) made it into the magazine!
I have been wanting to share this secret for so long, but it's finally in print, I am beyond excited!
Everything looks amazing; I mean the pictures were taken by a professional, digitized diagrams, and nicely written instructions... I am just so... so happy! I just wish that I could hold everyone by the hands who were involved in making this magazine (especially those who were involved with my article) and say thank you.
All the circles came from my scrap bins, and it is a super easy quilt to make. Do you wanna give it a try?
Ahh... Looking at this makes me want to pull out my fabrics and start making a new quilt.
In this winter weather, what have you been working on?

ReplyDeleteWow ! This is wonderful. I am so happy that you have been recogized for your creativity and design and taste. You are great. I wish that I lived next door to you.
ReplyDeleteThe quilt is beautiful. I've been following your blog for maybe 9 months or so, and I am delighted with all the creative things you publish for us to see and so generously teach us to do. The way you present parts of your life with so much positivity and are always so darn nice is just as much of a lure. In a world full of Kardashians and Jersey Shore, you are a welcoming little island of what it is when people are pleasant! Thank you for how well you do what you do here. Feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteThank you everyone for your nice comments of support! I really appreciate them. :)
ReplyDeleteBarbarashowell-
Your comment made me chuckle. I guess I am definitly not a Kardashians or Jersey Shore type. I am not a bombshell or anything at all, also lots of drama or roller coaster emotions tires me out so fast! I want to use that energy for something else. :)
Congrats to you! Wonderful news!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations. Your quilt is such a delightful design! Well deserved xo
ReplyDeletewhat a lovely quilt!!!! and good luck with the sale of your home!
